Every noun card has a coloured edge in its gender colour, so the article sticks visually. Level badges come from the Goethe-Institut lists:
A1A2B1
above B1 content word not in the A1–B1 lists
not listed function word or adverb the lists don't show as a headword
How to study with a list
- Filter by theme, level or word type, or search in German or English.
- 🎯 Test me hides the English. Say the meaning, then tap the card to check. 🔀 Shuffle mixes the order.
- 🔊 reads the word or the example aloud (Swiss German voice if your system has one).
- ⬇ Export for Anki downloads the words you have filtered as a tab-separated file. In Anki: File › Import, pick the file, check that field 1 = Front and field 2 = Back.
- Print a filtered list from the browser for paper review; English is always shown in print.
